Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Friends of Sport

For the second time Poland hosts Pool-Billiards European Juniors Team Cup. The first one was in Poznan, in 2006. Since then, Pool-Billiard has been growing dynamically, both in our country and in Europe. This can be confirmed by the facts that the player from Russia is the current World Junior Champion and that, for this year's World Juniors Championships two young Polish players qualified to take part. Today we welcome the best young athletes from Europe in Katowice.

You came to compete for another Sports Trophies; may this battle be full of the sports rivalry spirit. I wish that this visit gives you another opportunity to acquire new sports contacts and friendships. I also hope that you will have the chance to see the beauty of the Polish Country and our Region.

Let me wish to all the players a great success. To guests and spectators - a lot of emotions and unforgettable impressions. I also hope that the Polish teams will come as the best.
